29.07.08 -- US Shipbrokers is pleased to announce the sale of the M/V Texas Treasurer for demolition. The M/V Texas Treasurer (ex: Discovery Dawn) was sold to Indian breakers through a UK facilitator. The vessel is due to depart already this week for its lenghty voyage. US Shipbrokers has exclusively represented our client Discovery Cruise Lines in this transaction. We are also pleased with our co-brokers on this transaction, Southport Atlantic. Earlier this summer, US Shipbrokers also handled the sale of the fast ferry M/V Bimini Breeze to Venezuelan buyers. We are currently representing two other cruise operators that are replacing their aging tonnage.
